I started working in awesome networking team at Google from June 2015!!I represented Microsoft in National Science Foundation Engineering Research Center Pre-Award review meeting on Nov 6th, 2014.
I delivered a CSL Director's SpotLight Talk about "Programming Cloud Infrastructure" in University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Nov 7th 2014. Here is the link of my talk.
Our paper "Statesman: A Network State Management Service" has been accepted for publication in ACM SIGCOMM 2014.Our work on "OSM: Prioritized Evolutionary QoS Optimization for Interactive 3D Teleimmersion" has been accepted by ACM TOMCCAP 2014, the flagship journal of Multimedia Communication, Collaboration and Application.My work on application-network cross-layer synergy based on Software Defined Networking (SDN) has been accepted for poster presentation in ICNP. This year acceptance rate is 18 out of 40. The title of our work "Multi-stream Frame Rate Guarantee using Cross-layer Synergy".
Our paper introducing a unique synergy between application and network to maintain multimedia QoS during session run-time has been accepted for publication in International Conference on Network Protocols (ICNP), 2013. The paper title is "OpenSession: SDN-based Cross-layer Multi-stream Management Protocol for 3D Teleimmersion" The acceptance rate is 18% this year.
Our paper "CZLoD: A psychophysical approach for 3D tele-immersive video" has been selected as a notable paper in computing in 2012 by ACM Computing Reviews. The complete list is available at http://bit.ly/150YwcZ
This semester (Spring 2013), I am actively mentoring a senior undergrad student Aadhar Jain. He just received the "CS Undergraduate - Graduate Symposium Outstanding Research Project Award 2013" for our project "Activity Classification in 3DTI Systems Using Application-System Metadata".
